Hello! My name is Mrs. Matthews. I teach 3rd-5th grade ECE (Special Education) at Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School!! First, here's a little bit about me.

 I just got married on December 19th of this year! The students are used to calling me Ms. Haynes, but they'll get used to my new name sooner or later! :) My husband is also a teacher. He teaches English at Fern Creek High School.

This is my first year teaching in Jefferson County. I am originally from Ohio, but before moving to Louisville, I lived in Tennessee where I got my Master's degree in Special Education and worked in the school system there for 3 years.
